About
I've Been in the Trenches.
Not as a consultant watching from the outside. As a co-founder, a right hand to CEOs, an operator who's made payroll decisions on gut instinct and rebuilt departments from scratch. Mosaic is what I built when I realized founders in the hard middle needed someone who'd actually lived it — not someone who studied it.
The Founder
Christina Baggett
Founder, Mosaic Executive Counsel
20+ years alongside CEOs and founders
Co-founder, design-build construction firm
SEC-regulated fiduciary environments
Olympic-level athletic program operations
Two decades. SEC-regulated wealth management. Custom design-build construction — co-founded my own firm. Elite international athletic programs supporting Olympic medalists. I've built HR departments from nothing, redesigned revenue operations, stood up CRMs, and sat as the trusted right hand to multiple CEOs through growth, transition, and the messy in-between.
I'm an operator, not a theorist. I've personally run margin pressure under unpredictable timelines, translated between creative vision and execution reality, managed trades and clients in the same week, and lived with personal financial exposure in a cyclical, capital-intensive business. Founders of $1M–$5M businesses recognize that in someone within five minutes.
I can't lie to save my life. I've had to learn how to deliver hard truth gently. I reverse-engineer plans fast, see patterns and the ninety steps between here and the goal, and intuit a room quickly — but I always present solutions backed by evidence, data, and a showable action plan.
Why I Built Mosaic.
There's a pattern I've watched repeat across every industry I've worked in. A founder builds something real. The business grows. They hire talented people. And then somewhere between the early wins and the daily grind, the founder becomes the bottleneck for everything — and the advisor stack around them keeps producing siloed input that nobody is connecting.
The founder is in the trenches every day, putting out fires, making a hundred decisions before lunch, holding the beach ball underwater just to keep things moving. The vision that got them here is still there. They just can't see it from where they're standing.
Mosaic exists for that moment. Not to hand you a framework and wish you luck. To get in the work with you — map the veins of your organization, connect the pieces your other advisors leave separate, and stay until the work is done and the structure outlasts the engagement.
Proof, Not Promise
The Same System. Four Industries.
The methodology Mosaic runs isn't aspirational. It's already been built and operated across custom design-build construction, multi-entity family financial offices, SEC-regulated wealth advisory, and elite athletic programs. The same architecture — purpose, role framing, standards, sequenced process, named owners, reflection built in — runs on whatever it touches. The artifacts travel.
Design-Build Construction
Co-founded and operated a custom construction firm. Built the operating infrastructure from the ground up — lead carpenter briefing systems, material ordering processes, labor reconciliation, daily reporting rhythms.
Wealth Advisory
Trusted right hand to CEOs in SEC-regulated, fee-only fiduciary environments. Built the employee evaluation and development systems still in use across multiple organizations.
Family Financial Operations
Designed multi-entity family financial command centers — cash flow planning, capital deployment frameworks, wealth snapshots, and the reporting rhythms that make a family run like a business.
Elite Athletic Programs
Operations support for international programs coaching Olympic medalists. The same organizational discipline that runs a construction site runs a world-class training program.
How I Work
Elite Coach. Not Motivational Speaker.
Coaching alone doesn't motivate Olympians. Olympians are already talented. The job is to set the conditions for them to keep performing and remove the friction that gets in the way. That's the posture I bring to every founder I work with. You already have the drive. You don't need a cheerleader. You need someone in it with you this week — not framework-and-see-you-next-call.
Listen Before Prescribing
I ask the question nobody else is asking. The gold is almost always in what's NOT being said — the pattern underneath the presenting problem that everyone's been too busy to name.
Connect What Others Leave Separate
Your CPA, your FA, your ops consultant, your software vendor — none of them talk to each other. I've lived inside the financial-advisory world and the operating world. I do the connection-making the rest of your advisor stack won't.
Build What Outlasts the Engagement
The goal is never dependency. Every deliverable is engineered in your vision, with a clear next step you can run with. When the engagement ends, the organization runs better without me than it did before.
Hard Truth, Delivered Gently
You don't need someone to tell you what you want to hear. You need someone who'll tell you what you need to hear — clearly, directly, and without an agenda. I've had to learn how to do that well. I'm still learning.
If Any of This Sounds Familiar.
You've been carrying it long enough. Let's talk about where you are, where you're going, and what it looks like to finally get some air.
